Lina Vergopoulou

Lina Vergopoulou is a dancer and educator. 


She is a graduate of Aktina Professional Dance School and the Department of Communication and Media Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is currently completing her studies at the Department of Early Childhood Education at the same university and is beginning a four-year training program in Dance Movement Therapy.


Since 2017, she has been working in preschool and primary education, teaching dance to children from 2.5 years old, with a focus on the relationship between body, rhythm, and music, fostering group cohesion, and cultivating trust. As a dancer, she has collaborated with choreographer Georgia Paizi in performances and site-specific projects.


At InDancEdu, she is a core facilitator of educational programs in schools and community settings. She also contributes to teacher training and the research dimension of the organization’s projects.
