Participation at the 6th Panhellenic Conference on the Sociology of Education

We are pleased to announce the participation of Maria Papadopoulou, educator and founder of InDancEdu, in the 6th Panhellenic Conference on the Sociology of Education, titled “Education as a Common Good in a Vicious World: Democracy, Activism, and Society,” which will take place in Volos from May 23 to 25, 2025, at the Papastratos Tobacco Warehouse building.

Maria’s presentation, titled “A Thousand Languages of Dance: The Case Study of a Four-Year Dance Program in a Multicultural School Setting,” will be held on Saturday, May 24, from 09:00 to 10:30, during the session “Art, Cultural Practices, and Alternative Educational Realities.”

The program highlights the role of dance as a tool for expression, empowerment, and inclusion in culturally and linguistically diverse school environments. InDancEdu’s participation in the conference offers an important opportunity to deepen the discussion on alternative forms of education and the role of art and the body in the educational process.

We look forward to seeing you there!
